I recently stayed at a cozy little hotel that provided a wonderful experience. The room at Der Schutthof was spacious and had comfortable beds. The breakfast and dinner served at the hotel were delicious and plentiful, offering a lot of variety. The hotel also provided a free summer card with lots of attractions and activities for free or at a discounted price. Additionally, the hotel's location was close to Zell am See, and the staff were helpful, friendly, and accommodating. it was a great stay with great amenities.

Nothing disappointed us during our stay at the hotel.

The hotel rooms were very specious, clean and well furnished. The hotel had very good facilities and the buffet breakfast was very rich. The hotel provided Zell am see/Kaprun card for free which included discounts and free access to many sights.

Good location Provided Tourist Cards to enter all attractions and use buses free.

We had a great time skiing in the nearby area, with the lifts and ski bus conveniently close to the hotel. The hotel also provided good ski rental and service. The wellness center was excellent and the rooms surpassed our expectations for a 3-star hotel. The food was fresh and tasty, and the bars were enjoyable. Free parking and Wi-Fi were also a plus. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for skiers.

No wi fi staff bad attitude

We spent our Easter holidays at this hotel and we have to say, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The location is fantastic, only 8 minutes walking distance from the ski lift and they even have a room to store your ski equipment. the parking in front of the hotel is a great advantage.

The windows didn't offer good sound isolation which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. the bed slats were problematic and made for an uncomfortable sleep.

Excellent place for skiing holidays with short walk (~250 m) to Areitbahn lifts or skibus (~150 m) for skiing in Kaprun or Kitzsteinhorn, good ski rental and service in hotel. Excellent wellness centre and rooms better than one would expect in 3*. Good selection of food in breakfast, tasty dinners and good bars. Free parking and Wi-fi, friendly and helpful staff.

We liked everything, but note further info. If you are without car - the hotel is located ~2,5 km from Zell am See in nearby village Schuttdorf. If you want silence - the hotel is located nearby church (bell rings from 7 to 21) and apreski bar on main street and there are a lot of children in the hotel (because it is more family hotel).

The hotel offers a wide range of amenities such as boat and cable car tickets, fresh towels, hot showers, orthopedic mattresses, crisp bedding, kettle and cutlery. The hotel also provides a stunning view of the valley, mountains, and chapel, and is conveniently located near a forest hiking route. The staff is extremely hospitable and helpful.

Amazing value for money with clean rooms, good facilities, and a free Zell am See card. Perfect location near transportation and grocery shops, with a delicious breakfast at the restaurant opposite. Receptionists were super friendly and helpful. The staff, especially Zjaclin, were wonderful. Short bike ride to Zell am See and an excellent Indian Italian restaurant nearby. Quiet room with a nice balcony. Fantastic service and a money-saving tourist card.

I had a fantastic time at this hotel. The location couldn't have been better - just a short walk to the Areitbahn lifts, making it perfect for skiers like me. Plus, the hotel is situated close to cross country routes and a wonderful shopping area. The rooms were surprisingly better than expected for a hotel of this caliber, and the wooden interior added a touch of charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, giving me one of the best nights' sleep in a while. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. The breakfast selection was delightful, offering everything I could possibly want to start my day.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was excellent. If I had to nitpick, I would say that the room size was a bit small, but it was still very clean and well-maintained.

The hotel’s location was excellent for skiers as it was very close to the ski lift, making it easy to enjoy skiing in Zell Am See and Kaprun. It was also in close proximity to various attractions such as the church and lively bars. The room and bathroom were nice and clean, while the service was helpful and efficient. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of food and the afternoon snacks were an added bonus.

The communication from the reception staff was poor and could have been better.
